Recently I've learned that wearing protective styles is very important and I totally agree.Afro hair is quite fragile and the tighter the curl the weaker the hair . Every bend in the hair creates a weak point in the strand. These weak points easily break when the hair is manipulated.

Our hair becomes stressed when it is being constantly manipulated and styled. The more styling you do and the rougher the styling you do the more your hair will break off. Therefore the different weather climate can cause the fragile part of your hair to break off. This is why having your ends tucked away safely in a protective style is important.
