Hair Update
It's been 9 days now since I have my kinky twist in. During the week I decided to unravel the ends to get a fuller effect, and honestly I'm in love with the way they look. My hair is growing out nicely I do hope that I'll achieve my hair goal. Only 95 more days to go.

Naturali-Chik Look-Book: Solange Knowles
In the past couple of years, Solange Knowles has become a role model for
women with natural hair. Whether she’s rocking a TWA, braids, or an
ultra-fluffy ’fro, her tresses are always glamorous and inspirational!
Here, we take a look back at the singer/actress/deejay's flyest mane moments since her "big chop" back in '09!

In 2009, Solange officially cast aside her weaves and wigs to rock this instantly trendsetting, closely cropped natural.

At the Max Azria spring 2011 fashion show Solange sported this huge free-flowing fro.
Solange rocks 90's-era braids and a turban at Marquee in Las Vagas.
At a Guess fragrance launch, Solange tucked her tresses into an ikat print turban.
At a Range Rover event, Solange fluffed her chemical-free hair up to sexy new heights.
At a fete for INC International Concepts, Solange rocked her natural six-inch coils-and paired them with flawlessly lined eyes and paled lips.
I wish Solange all the best on her natural hair journey. May she continue to rock her natural tresses and being an inspiration to me and other naturali-chik ladies out there.
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Extra virgin olive oil, or EVOO, is well known for its nutritious value, providing a healthy component. It’s rich in biotin, vitamins A and E and antioxidants. Cold pressed EVOO is additive free and can be used to moisturize your skin and condition your hair. Use it as a protective sealant, to treat dandruff and to add moisture to your scalp.Olive oil can be used as also a deep conditioner and a hot oil treatment to add moisture and nourishment to dry, damaged hair.
Deep Conditioning
You can rub some olive oil into your hair and scalp prior to shampooing
or leave it in your hair for an overnight deep conditioning treatment.
You can also gently heat some olive oil in the microwave for a homemade
hot oil treatment. Rub the oil into your hair and put a plastic shower
cap on and allow the nutrients to penetrate fully for 20 minutes. Rinse
well and follow with shampoo.
